is there a good way to sync the notes and the music? I'm just doing it through trial and error, and it takes way too long. any help is appreciated

I've tried doing this too. It's pretty difficult.

Ideally if you could create your own music, make a song that is say 2bps (or two beats per second) for example. Then at 30fps, you would know to put a beat every 15 frames, right?
