The previous colour setting was sRGB IEC61966-2.1 and I changed it to the one you advised (the 1998 one), so that its the same setting as the image that the photographer supplied me with.

But all this does leave me with the overall question of which is the best colour setting to use. Was my sRGB IEC61966-2.1 colour setting incapable of displaying such vibrant colours? Or was it just that for that particular colour it displayed it differently?

I..e. should I find out which colour setting best suits my particular needs and use that? Or should I use whatever the latest setting is? Or are they all much of a muchness and I just need to make sure that all files I maybe working on have the same colour setting whatever that maybe?

I'm getting into something I've never done before, and need to be pointed in a direction. In general terms, I'm needing to compare a query image (jpeg) to a table of images, and identify which element of the table contains a match to the query image. More accurately, each image in the table has been "blacked out," except for precisely defined "regions of interest." On the other hand, the "regions of interest" in each query image may be thought of as opaquely overlaying a photographed image. By removing all the extraneous material in the query image (ie. blacking it out, and leaving untouched the query image's "regions of interest," the now-simplified query image can be compared to each "simplified" table image. At some point, a match will occur, and, knowing the "identity" of the matched table entry, I will have determined the "identity" of the query image. Voila!

your save as batch will save as original name but .jpg format, thus creating a new file in the process. Is that not happening? are the files being saved as .pdf again?

Help With Shopping Cart - VB 2008

I have to create a shopping cart using 3 forms. There is a menu on the main form. If you select from the menu the PrintBook form, it gives you a list of books. If you select from the list, the name should populate the list box on the main form and then add the price of the book to the subtotal label on the main form also. When I try this it adds the book to the main form list box but places 0.00 in the Subtotal label instead of the price of the book.. See the code below. The first is for the main form and the 2nd is the print book form..

I have a project that i have no idea where to start with.

The question is - Write a program that reads a line of text from the keyboard and then displays it without any punctions. Hint: create a string or punctuation character ",.:;'?!\"()" test to see if the next character of the line is not a substring of the punctuation string, then add it to the new string that does not contain punctuation.

Hello Janessa,

Quality of people-photographs is poor-to-fair. Skin tones are slightly better (warmer) than Shutterfly's, but they they are sometimes too orange, and are consistently over-exposed.
Shopping Cart tool does NOT display image file names when ordering sizes and quantities.
They do NOT print image file names on the rear of each print.
They cannot provide customers with ICC profiles.

yeah,
those dropdowns definately query a DB PHB makes sense and should just be very simple using dreamweaver or what ever software you use.
