If I were making this logo for a client I'd be using pics of real bullets (different angles, some lying flat, some propped up, etc.) and painstakingly laying them out around an under guide of the "kult" word.

You want it to suggest the bullets are 'piled' - look at a pile of any objects that are the same, the top of the pile objects are larger than the lower ones, shadows of the upper objects need to fall on the lower ones.
You get my drift.

If that's all too much work, how about using images of vertical bullets looking directly down on them. Like they're all packed and lined up in a cartidge box?

Either way, you have your work cut out for you, I wouldn't take this job on unless it paid very well!

Do some link building with other site having the same concept of your or relates in any case, make sure about the relevancy.

Make your own blog with good content and relate it with your site, comment on others blog but please don't spam.

Bookmarking and directory submission also help you a lot.

Thanks for both of your replies.
My computer is 2.2GHz and 2G ram. I am currently sitting at 60% for ram dedicated to PS. Scratch disk is on a different hard drive. I think this is about the best setting I can get out of my machine.

I think I should try reducing the number of history states, and see what happens.

Hi all,

May i know wthr there r exist the js for calling the math symbols(eg: limit, equation,etc) ?

I wannna add this function to the format toolbar as similar like in this 'post a new topic' page, on top of the textarea. there are bold, italic, underlince function. So, want to add the math funtion and when user click it, they will select the symbols and display in the text area.

i have thist 2 example ady, but if there are more example, that much morehelpful!!

Adding data labels next to graph bars

Hi,

I am on a tight deadline for a client and so am looking for anybody who can help me asap.
I need to create 70 bar graphs as .eps, and have everything perfect, except that each bar requires the data label next to it. (Eg the X axis has percentages along it 0% 5% 15% 25% and I need the exact % written next to each bar.)

I can't find any option in illustrator or online that says I can perform this action - does anybody know?

I have included an image from MS Excel to prove exactly what I mean..

BarCode print question

Hello looks like a great forum!

I'm going to be offset printing a cd package. I need to apply a barcode, my printer told me to make an adjustment and I don't know what he meant.

"for the black color, it has to be “K” only, not a CMYK black."

What does this mean and how do I do this?

A barcode seems like a pretty easy thing to do, right? Is this a job for illustrator?

Does anybody know a good place to buy barcodes?

Any input is appreciated!

i don't know what is the difference between event procedures and general procedures . And Why do we use general procedures? How are general procedures executed? Describe in one sentence how you could improve it for the user . Explain how arguments and parameters work when a procedure is called? What happens when a ByVal parameter is used ? Give an example. What happens when a ByRef parameter is used ? Give an example. How are static variables differerent from local and global ones?

HTML Background Problem

Dear members, I need your help! I think this is the first question I ask in the forums =)

I'm currently making a new version of DEVPPL, but I'm having some problems with the background. The site will be based on the forum engine phpBB.

To spot the problem, you will first have to go to theUser Control Panel , then click on Board preferences and then set "My board style" to "DEV_Beta" and click Submit.

To the problem:
In topics that are long so you have to scroll a lot, the background suddenly stops, here's an example:
"http://www.devppl.com/forum/request-a-signature-vt2120.html"

I'm sure it's some basic thing that I've forgot, but it's driving me crazy that I can't figure out what itis.

What's wrong?
(the code is still a bit messy, and there are lots of different CSS-files...

you cant run an exe on someone elses machine. You would need to have some activeX installed. what is in the .exe? I personally beieve your visitors need to be aware you are going to execute a file and it is in very bad taste to even attempt it. but if you want to have a download/open dialog box run when someone clicks a button just use simple html tag.

I know it isnt what you want but i just disagree with .exe at page load plus it is a more complicated thing than your little java snippet.
