The reason you can't see the images is cuz as Electrified said, the images have been deleted out of the hosting site, eg photobucket, tiny pic etc. The person that made the tutorial would have to reload them into the host then add them back to the tute.... too bad though, I would like to see them too.....

I made a background out of mine (1280x1024) and i used 2 layers instead i did exactly the same to both layers except for the fact that i used different colors and on the second layer i used overlay instead.

Excruciating, what technique were you using before my way, I would to try it out.

I will be the first to admit my method does not give entirely realistic results, but it is the best method I can find for non regular shapes short of drawing each tear by hand. If anyone has a different way or discovered a variation of this that yields a more realistic result please send it my way - it's never too late to learn new methods!

I know my work here is done a bit rough. But keep in mind I did the job in less than half an hour, to have a quick tutorial for Caractacus ^^

I also worked in a 1024 x 768 resolution while I used to work 4 - 5x bigger. When I then crop my image to wallpaper size, my errors wont be visible anymore ...

Hi Roby and welcome to DEVPPL.

This effect will look different everytime, becuase you're doing the Cloud-filter in the beginning. Try to do the tutorial a few time and see which of your images you like the most.
