i found it also looks good with first step and add color and i think some of step two nice!

Photoshop Tutorial: Green Lightning

Make a new picture (CTRL+N) i used the format 480x480 pixels.

Press 'D' to reset the colors

Click on 'Gradient Tool' and set 'Foreground to Background', and set Mode to Difference. (look at the image below)

Now just make alot of gradients in the image until the whole image is filled with gradients. It should look something like this you you'redone:

Now duplicate the layer by rightclicking on it and click on Duplicate Layer, set Blend Mode to Multiply and click on Edit > Transform > Rotate 90 CW. Repead that three times, you should now have 4 layers in the layer-window and your image should look something likethis:

Press SHIFT+CTRL+E to merge the layers together. You should...
