Hi all, first post here.

I'm fairly new to using Photoshop seriously, but am very much into graphic desisn. I've seen lots of great artwork that seem to combine photography and digital effects/vector art to create lovely images. I was aiming for something like this:

Had a play around with my own photos, and these two images are the end result. Having said that, I'm happy with the blue one, but the green one is still WIP, don't want to go overboard, but it's definitely missing something to make it sparkle.



Any thoughts, suggestions, comments on either would be fantastic.
