Please tell me if it is true: that everyime you save and save again an image in photoshop that you lose quality of the image? I tend to work on a photo save it and then later come back to it and edit some more and then save again.

It is true if you're using a JPEG format. JPEG's use a method of compressing information which "averages" several pixels to reduce file space. However, the Photoshop (PSD) format preserves all the information in a file, so you can open and close it thousands of times with no loss of quality.

So if you're going to be editing a photo over several sessions, I reccomend saving it in PSD format until you're done with it, then using the JPEG format for the final image.

hi

this is not true, the resolution all the time be same as when the first use, but the main thing that will make some low res. is to enlage several time the size of the file
