Google has recently released a new search function. This one is not for usual information or Books like their other functions has been thus far. This one searches the globe for close up views. You can for instance zoom in on New York and see all the steets close up with the help of the satelites Google Earth is connected to.

Very handy if you are going to travell somewhere as it can find directions from any place to any place on our home planet. You have to check it out for yourself to know how usefull it really can be.

Visit Google Earth at http://earth.google.com/

I've tried that one. It's a lot of fun to like look up your own house and stuff like that. Me and my friend checked like every tourist attraction we could come up with:
The pyramides, Chairo
The Opera House, Sydney
The Eiffel Tower, Paris
The London Eye, London
Ground Zero, New York
The White House, Washington D.C.
Grand Canyon, Arizona

It was fun. Although I've been told that the picture can be up to three years old. It's not directly connected to a satelite, even though there are good fairly new images. I sugges that everyone tries it out 'cause it's fun, at least the first hour ;)

I simply find it silly for google to make different sites for searching of pretty much useless things. I saw one google function where you could look around the moon's surface. I mean where does the line go?

Alright... this one is fine but most of them are pointless.
