I worked it out that way in the end and managed to copy and paste to another picture.

How do I load a new picture and use it as the new background. When I load one, it goes on to a new layer and I can't find the original one.

I have just acquired Photoshop (which I have never used before) and I have sat here for over two hours trying to do a simple task of cutting an item out and placing it on another picture (EG - A car from one road on to another). I have looked on this forum, Youtube, and the photoshop manual for help...
