Image > Adjustments > Invert (or CTRL+I) will apply this effect to your whole image. I would suggest duplicating the image layer that you are working on, applying the invert effect and then deleting the parts that you don't want inverted.
Hi, I don't have any ideas for you, but I can help with the second part of your question... A bitmap is an image that has been rasterized - Photoshop stores a bitmap image pixel by pixel. A vector is an image that has been stored mathematically - like ClipArt in Word, it can be scaled indefinitely w...
I'm trying to use AS3 to populate a combobox using external XML. I know it can be done, but my web searches turn up mostly questions, rather than answers. My XML (companies.xml) looks like this: <?xml version="1.0"?> <companies> <company name="Company1"><...
Hello hello - long time no see! Got really busy... Who's still around? Try this quiz: http://www.walletpop.com/quizzes/spot-the-fake-product Just thought I had to share this link - it's meant to test your knowledge of products, but you'll get a lot further looking for obvious Photoshoppi...
Hi again, I think I've worked out a way of doing this: 1 - Delete your black background and replace it with a white one. (Not to merge or do anything with - it's just so that you can see what you're doing. :) ) 2 - Take your warped/rippled/rasterised text layer and add an outer glow to it - just a s...
As you can see from the guide, the author adjusts the Hue of the text to give it its blueish tint. The problem I am having is that, when I do this on the text with a transparent background, changing the Hue doesn't affect the text color in any way. It seems as though, in order for the Text's hue to...
I did not say I wanted 800 x 800 images, I said I wanted them to constrain to 800 x 800. Anyways... Thank you very much for your time and information! That is exactly what I needed. I still maintain that 'constrain to 800x800px' and 'fit inside an 800x800px square' are completely different concepts...
That's actually a pretty good workaround, jerry, thanks. Hopefully it won't be too long before all browsers accept PNG - we're heading that way slowly but surely!
I still don't see how that has the wider and taller images both constrain to 800 x 800. Some will be 1600 x 800 (Want to make that to 800 x 400) and some will be 800 x 1600 (want to make it 400 x 800) So when you say you want 800x800 images that's not what you mean at all... :!: You'll get a much b...
I don't need to crop. I still don't see how that has the wider and taller images both constrain to 800 x 800. No wonder there's so much confusion - you used the word 'constrain', which will make people think that you want to keep the aspect ratio... But you're saying you want to stretch your images...
