Well, that is a tough project that you have planned.

Firstly, you will need to determine exactly how the type will look (completely made up of small 7pt helvetica type vs using a variety of different typefaces in different sizes).

What will the type say? or is it just ABC...?

Do you have a photo or illustration of yourself to use as a base?

Will the type be used as a line drawing or do you want it to run through your face showing the ups and downs, darks and lights.

Or perhaps a silhouette of yor profile is what you are after?
That would be the easiest. Get a profile photo of your face, fill it in with black. You now have a 100% black silhouette of your profile...set that aside on the page. Then in the same size rectangular shape as your overall head, type the words that you want to fill it up. Place the silhouette over the type then with both selected got to Object>Clipping Path>Make
And Viola there it is.

Hope that helps.
