set="yes" linkindex="15"

set="yes" linkindex="15"

Postby Ephricon Tim on Tue Jul 08, 2008 6:59 pm

This bit of code has shown up some of my <a href>'s:

set="yes" linkindex="15"

I have no idea what it is and can't seem to find a good explanation. I was using Dreamweaver to add some tags when I found it. Anyone have a clue?

The problem is not in your, it's on your editor. You might want to ask this on DW's support forum ;)

From Adobe Community Expert:

Neither of those are valid HTML usages. Leaving them there will cause your
page to fail validation. How did that get there? It must have been in the
source file. Are you sure that you cannot find it there? DW does not
insert such pseudo-attributes....

I'm late getting here, but I had this same "linkindex" problem on Flickr. It turned out to caused by a Firefox add-on, "Cool Preview." Disabling the add on fixed the problem.
