Simple Help for the Pros.

Postby Kampfzentrum on Sun May 06, 2007 1:31 pm

OK, thanks for those that visited this thread in advance.

I'm starting Photoshop for the first time this week. I'm getting all of the layers and all that but I am having a hard time being able to insert images. I've been able to do it so far by copy/pasting them in, but I'd like to find a way that would not be so trouble some.

So, question: How do I insert images and have them inserted as a layer?

For future reference, the questions will keep coming I assume...

Thanks again,

Steve

Open both images. Select all or part of the second image, highlight the move tool (v) then drag and drop it onto the first image. Photoshop will automatically put the image on a new layer.
