Skins im making - Smothing Colors

Hello, i make SKins for 3D avatars in PS, i use PS CS3, i was wonering if theres any tool that can make me Smothe the colors, for example:

Lets say i got Red - Yellow.

i want a tool that would ( just like blur and burn and dodge, that ud just apply that to that area moving ur mouse)
so after smothing those 2 colors that touch each other on the same layer

it would be Red -Orange - Yellow

i dont know if u guys know what i mean

The gradient tool.
You've not been 100% clear with your exact problem, so it's hard to tell you how to use it specifically, but gradients are what you are after.
