Very nice images, I like both of them very much. I think a combination between the first and second one would be better. When I saw the first one, I tohught that it was perfect, but when I saw the second one, I thought that the light was cool but it was a bit too much. So if you combine them, it would be perfect. Very nice work!

Mabey, as it already has been suggested, a combination of those two.

Or mabey, just make a greater difference in light and darkness.
A light spot in the middle fading out into a darker color ..
It's very beautifull the pattern in the background

I prefer the first one and it looks like a promotion psoter for some dance tv show, like "so you think you can dance" or something. Very professional lookin g:)
