I started to learn C a few months ago and I just recently start C++ and there's no doubt in my mind that if you're going to be doing alot of coding, you need a handy little program called Vim. If you're righting a program and make a mistake, it can usually instantly find it and notify you. It saves you a lot of time in the long run.

Only as difficult as it is to learn any other programming language, so if you have done other programming in the past you will find it easy enough to pick up otherwise yeah it is quite a task to learn your fist programming language.

I have stopped after a few days in every attempt of learning programming, I have had a quick go at learning Javascript, C and PHP now and dint get far with any of them, it takes a lot of time and dedication to learn any of them.

When I say if you have done any programming before I mean proper programming, NOT the likes of HTML/XHTML and CSS which are NOT programming languages.
