Technical question about Photoshop

I'm using photoshop CS2 on a Mac OSX 10.4.8. Every time I try to Save As > GIF (not save for web, just save directly as a GIF) the program shuts down. This happening to anyone else that knows what to do?

Never heard of it. have you tried re-installing?

I think this is more related to them than us really ..

Yup I've reinstalled a couple times but no luck. I actually did try contacting Adobe about it but they're telling me they won't help because my "support plan" is expired or something. I've only had it since February. That's a little frustrating. Thanks for your help though!

have you tried googling the problem?
That's usually the easiest way to check if anyone else had the same problem

Yeah I tried and couldn't find anything, that's how I ended up here. It's hard to figure out what phrase to search for too. "photoshop crashes saving gif" "saving GIFs in Photoshop doesn't work" you know?
