See it depends on what package you buy... there are hosting packages with which you get free domain name. Also, you can buy only domain yourself and use free hosting which is provided free by sites such as www.frihost.com and www.50webs.com etc.... Please ask again if it is not clear to u.

Anyone know where you can get the most expensive domain name? I'm just interested to see the comparison.

I don't know of their prices, but www.markmonitor.com is certainly one of the most expensive domain registrars out there.
Some other expensive ones out there are:-
http://publicdomainregistry.com - $35
http://domainpeople.com - $35
http://networksolutions.com - $35

Not the cheapest but I've tried cheaper registrars and my DNS information was all of the time being deleted, VERY slow service and crappy customer support.
So, I'd stick with Godaddy.com. You get what you pay for.

I think this provider has very good prices compared to other sites about, and they do offer very good CS which is very important.
