The Dreaded "File Not Readable"

The Dreaded "File Not Readable"

Postby ihucus on Thu Mar 04, 2010 7:49 pm

So I recently started working for a client and they sent me a design.

Needless to say the original designer is crazy for photoshop. Almost 30 linked .psds that are over 50 mb each.

I'm debating opening each photoshop file. and outputing each psd as a .png(transparency) and relink all the psds with .pngs...

Does anyone else have any bright ideas?

please no, "you need better hardware" responses.
24 gigs of ram. 2 nvidia 280s. i7 processor. raptor solid state.
Majority of Adobe products are still 32-bit, meaning they can only use 3or4? gigs of ram.
