Windows or Linux? Who will be first to boot on the new Intel Macs? windowsxponmac.com is having a contest to see who will be the first one to get Windows XP on a Mac. If you succeed your mac just paid for it self. A whopping $5747 as of 2006/01/25 07:35 CST will be awarded to the first person to do it!
Also Red Hat Linux says they want to ensure that its software will continue to run on new Apple hardware in the future.
So the big question is, who will be first? The hundreds of nerds looking to get a sweet jackpot by modding software or hardware that isn't theirs or the professional company that has the access and knowledge possible to get their OS on the new Macs quickly? |
