[Resolved] Transparency

Postby DannyGuitar on Sat Apr 28, 2007 6:12 pm

I'm making a transparent logo. I drew the text but when I did, I had a blue fore color.

Now I want to make it 'fade out' with transparency. It's used as a reflection effect on the text.

I could just make it a white BG and use a fore color to white gradient but I want it to be transparent.

When I apply a White - Transparent gradient to it, it just goes from white to the fore color I used when drawing the text.

I attached a screen shot, hope you guys can help.

I'm going to be saving it as a PNG.

I'm not talking about the BG being transparent. I already know how to save a transparent image.

I'm talking about making the selected text in the screen shot fade from blue to transparent.
