Trojan

Lol! That is taking it to the extreme there. I don't think that is completely necessary. As long as his virus scanner found and cleaned the problem I don't think there should be any rush to format his computer. I formatted the other day and it took +3 hours just to transfer 40 gigs of information. Just imagine someone who has twice or three times that amount of information. That is a quite ridiculous step to take for a small virus which can be cleaned!

hmm Yea I agree with you Violence it took me a long time to reinstall before and I still don't have everytihng back the stuff I put onto CD's were corrupt don't know how that happened no viruses or anything I just reinstalled because photoshop wouldn't work or any of me CS3 software.

well im just giving him an idea. jeez. well if the trojan has been on his pc for awhile then it probably going to hide on his pc better. also not all anti virus software can't always take it off compelely...
