Tweens and Bones

Postby Markclarke » Sun Sep 12, 2010 10:56 pm

Dear all,

I'm a newbie and have reached my competency limit very quickly. I'm importing layered .psd files of a wire frame human body (if you can imagine it), then using bones to add articulation points and then animate it. Everything is fine when I don't want to transform the shapes from one state to another. The problem comes when I want to make one limb shorter in the final frame than it is in the first. Can you point me in the right direction how to do this please?

I've also tried using traditional Flash e.g. shape tween but then I can't apply a motion tween as it's not a symbol. I'm sure I'm doing something dumb. I've gone through as many tutorials as I can find online but no no avail. Any help or direction to relevant tutorials would be most appreciated.

Regards
Mark

with out seeing it impossible to say what is wrong but what comes to mind here is if you are creating a shape before editing it, you need to rasterize it, is that the problem?

I think that might solve the problem. Many thanks! I'll try rasterizing it and post back if I still have problems.
