ugly flash in background

Made some shots of people with flash before shining background. Now there is that terrible white flash highly visible. Tried cloning, but it only gets worse. Can anybody tell me how I can get this out of 50 pictures without ruining my whole weekend?

Probably not, but if you could post an example, I'll see if I have any suggestions. I'm not trying to be a smart aleck, it's just that there may not be much that can be done- or it may be extremely complicated.

Depending on how important the background is to you, you could always just cut them out and place them on a different BG. Would have to see the photo to tell if that is feasible though.

Sorry, you first have to go to:

http://hnphoto.zenfolio.com/

then click on testshot (shows protected) and type flashy as password....
