Hi there,

I was persuaded to buy CS3 Extended and now wish I had followed my gut instinct of just getting CS3.

When installing the extended, there does not seem to be a 'Custom' install option, so I now have the whole thing. Is it possible to remove stuff like Device Central, Video, Design Centre? There is not uninstall icon.

I have tried to do so using Revo Uninstaller but so many entries have been removed from the Registry that the computer does not start!

I really only want CS3/Bridge for photo-editing; the other programs are more involved than I need.

cant ya just not use them and leave them alone you never know someday you may have a use for them

Sure I could and that is too easy.

I'm just one of those nuts who does not like his hd being full of stuff that he is not going to use. I un-installed CS3 to check if there was a 'Custom' selection, but either there is not or it whizzed past me so fast I did not see it.

lol i bet ya got a few 300gb HDs on ya comp to aint ya i have a mate like that more space than he could ever fill but spends his life deleting things hes not using no matter how small

You are sort of correct. However, I scan transparencies at the moment and work with either 100 mb or 50 mb file sizes. That soon fills up my hds.

Coupled to the fact that the CS3 installation is close to 500mb; programs of that size soon fills my OS partition.

Any crap I can get rid of, so much the better. Sure, hd space is cheap, but it's my choice to have a lean, clean and fast machine!
