Upload/Download Password Protected Images

I am photographer and want to upload client jobs to a web page or whatever and allow, via password, my clients to view and/or download the job to their site, is this an easy thing to achieve?

you could password protect certain pages using .htaccess

Thanks for your advice! I like the idea of the .htaccess which would allow a password to view the files, but how would the client then be able to download the images (not just right-click > save)? Thanks for your assistance!

Hmmm... the only thing that I can think of is for you to ZIP them, then have them download the ZIP file
