Upload photos using formmail

Postby Marinajc » Tue May 31, 2005 4:26 am

I have a form where I would like to have people be able to upload photos. The form part is ok, but I am told I have to alter the script to make it work. Anyone know how or what to do? I am using Jacks php formmail and I dont know anything about altering php codes.

Thanks

Hi and welcome to DEVPPL.

I think you should look at some scripts. Here's some links to upload-scripts you can download and then change:

Here's a more simple one I use:

HTML:
Code: Select all
<form enctype="multipart/form-data" action="process.php" method="post">
<input type="hidden" name="MAX_FILE_SIZE" value="99999999999" style="font-weight: 700" />
<input name="userfile" type="file" />
<input type="submit" value="UPLOAD" style="font-weight: 700; text-decoration:underline" />
</form>

Progress.php:
<?php

$uploadfile = $_FILES['userfile']['name'];
print "<pre>";
if (move_uploaded_file($_FILES['userfile']['tmp_name'], $uploadfile)) {
print "<center>Successfully uploaded.</center>";
} else {
print "File could not be uploaded. ";
}
print "</pre>";

?>
