brush 187 isnt there , number 27 is next best brush and its

still there

i noticed brushes are slightly different when u choose them from either

top left menu or regular brusk menu on right side

Odd i know

hi,
in general my knowledge of brushes is weak...
but the brush numbers that a relative diameter size

now when they make these brushes... what they do many
time is they'll basically the same brush but characteristice be a little
different.. ie, soft edge or hard edge, maybe alittle color etc.....
generally when you see basically the same brush but with different diam sizes
it because the basic attributes of the brush is a little different ..

now this custom brush tutorial... i think will give you an idea
of can be involved in creating brushes.... now a lot of times..
people will skip alot of the steps involved but as you can see
you can careate the same brush but will different presets/attributes
http://photoshoptutorials.ws/photoshop- ... pages.html

on your tutorial one thing i noticed in the pallet
is that your not using seperate layer for the stitches.. i highly
recomend doing that since it would be much easier not only
position or change but if you need to redo it a lot better to delete a layer than
to start over totaly.......

on the red... i think the red on the stitiches is too intense..... you may
want to tone that down a bit by changing the opacity...

Thanks for the tips mate

May you have any idea where that brush may have went ? LOL

i googled it to no avail , there was a hit on brush 187 for mac tho

But not pc , and i believe 187 by itself isnt a brush in itself

as a browse in the install folder would hint at

It would be part of a set , but i cant see any others gone

Thanks

hi,
it probably there.. but maybe it a subset and it not visable in
that master list on the right side....

it not really that important to the tutorial.... just so you pick a
brush tip that accomplish what you want....
note: i looked at all of my brush sets and didn't find 187 ...

just for the heck of it because i didn't know what the "chalk" brush look like..smiling
when searching..... and found this tutorial that talk about using the chak brush
http://www.photoshopessentials.com/phot ... -brush.php

it coincides with that square looking brush marked 36 there 2 there but i don't know what the differences are...

hi,
well your having alot of fun with that tutorial.. smiling
as far as the finger... maybe maybe not...
now I thought there was too much red on the
stitches.. i can just barely make out the stitches
because too much red.. may be it my monitor....

so ou got wacom tablet... that one the better ones...
and from what i heard once you get to know how to
use it... you'll never go back... smmiling...

I have thought about getting but other priorities. smiling..

Hi

Yes i realize some of areas to be worked on , im kinda rushed with

having a busy day tomorrow and all , and i need ZZZZZz :)-

this is my final image , i know i messed up on fnger nails as well

i just wated to get the basics-tech part down , for when i work on a pic of

maybe myself ( some may say an improvement of the original then Hahaha )

One thing i would have loved to have got down tho was that marbled meat texture look

he gets , and that real burned look on skin.......may it just be the meat texture

he used ? I love that effect

Thanks mate

hi,
well it looks like to me you have the basics of the tutorial
on the meat.. remember there more than one way....

for example i just experimented on this...

i pasted the meat on a layer above the face!!!

then i applied a black layer mask!!

then i selected a brush. (it labeld 24) that look like a
chalk brush.. but remember just something familiar..
important pint is that it leaves cracks!!!
i set the opacity around 20 .....
and then i just click a few time to where i could start to the red
come thru.. after that you click a couple of more time to suit yourself
on how much you want to show thru
