Well ive been working on this for a while. i still need help with a good floor material (wood flooring or carpet).

the one with global illumination was just a quick render to see what it looked like because my friend was telling me how to use it.

any help or comments would be much appreciated.

sorry for the massiveness of the picture. :?

Looks cool... Always wanted to do stuff like that..
The only thing that struck me as odd was the table.. What if someone places something on the right side of it? Wouldn't it tip over?

the walls are the color they will be when finished. the guys is just their for sizing purposes, its all supposed to be life size or at least close. But this was just my first time at house modeling, much less realistic modeling at all. The only thing im REALLY missing is carpet or a good material for wood.

Well.. Textures for wood is not to hard to find, heck, it's not even that difficult to draw in photoshop.
I also saw a tutorial where they used filters to prduce a descent texture of wood .. Takes less time than painting it :)
