webdevelopment is something that needs time to understand.

The fastest way to create a nice website is to use a content management system (CMS). One freeware CMS is "Joomla". With Joomla you can install loads of modules programmed by a big community.

Get joomla here:
http://www.joomla.org/
It needs to be installed and requires PHP/MySQL.

It would also be good to get familar with HTML and JavaScript. There's no way round learning the basics of that.
A great site for learning HTML/JavaScript is selfhtml. However it does not support english:

cheers!

There are several ways.

It always depends on what you need.
You can also create a powerpoint document and export it to HTML.
Then you have your website.
But that code is not really maintainable.

You can create a HTML-document using dreamweaver, but there you need to understand some basics of HTML.

you could try a template i know of a site that you can use if you like but again you will need to understand the basics at least for HTML and/or CSS if you want them. Learning HTML can be easy if you take it in steps and take the time to ensure you understand it.

Also dont be afraid to ask here for help if you need it :)
