Really looking for some constructive criticism/ways to improve. I'm still learning. And bare in mind it's not quite done, there's still a little more info to go on.

You have a wonderful sense of graphic design and layout. I like it a lot. I really love the gray bars in the background.

hi ,
i like it..... it straight to the point... the images easily tells your story ..... and it it not over crowded..... it's nice and simple... the colors work out great...

now of course i got to say something else....lol.....
1. t his is just a personal preference but i wonder how the letters would look if you put a layer of snow on them...!!

2. this is more in the realm of technical .... when i looks at the guy back leg where the beam touches the leg... at that juncture... it looks not right!! it just a feeling... i am probably all wrong....

hi idad,
i was thinking i been visiting photoshop disaster website too much.... been training my eye to look at details and what to look for....

been thinking about the different way to handle that beam.. i don't know if any of them are good.. one way i looked at it was the beam is the mountain... either the guy rides the beam or he leaving the beam like leaping off .... it one of those things where you can go around in circles with...lol .... but the bottom line is always if the artist is satisfied... it like a cook he can only cook a meal to his satisfactions and hopes everyone likes the way he cooks...lol...

Very nice work! I was also thinking about the possibility of snow capped text. There's a font call "Almonte Snow", don't know if you have it or not.

Think I'll pass on the Snow Jam though, I'm a little too old for snowboarding; my bones (and butt) just won't take it anymore :-)

Thanks for the good words and stuff.
I've thought about the snow-capped lettering and think it conjures a more wintery feel than I was after. They're going to the snowdome so it's not really a winter thing, just man-made snow and disco music (sounds like my idea of hell).
As for that issue with the dude's leg, I see what you mean. It's a perspective thing (changing photo with depth etc. to 2D shape) and I've looked at a couple of ways of making it more visually OK, but I've failed. anyone has any suggestions that would be cool. Christmas wishes x
