What I see in ACDSee is different to that in PS

Postby trophy on Sat Jul 28, 2007 11:45 pm

How is it I can see a pic in ADCSee that has some background in it (around and behind the article ) but in PS the background does not show.
It is a pic of a model car on a track but when I load it into PS only the image of the car is present as if it the surrounding area has been masked.
This is not a pic I took but if I can replicate the process it will save a huge task of masking all my pics.
I would post a pic but can't find a way to do it.
I am stumped.
All help appreciated.

You can upload images at www.imageshack.us
It sounds wierd.. The only thing I can think of right now would be the surrounding of the car was on another layer and set to 'hidden' .. but ..

Well I am back and on the case again.
Thanks for all the suggestions.
I have uploaded the pic but as I suspected it just shows the car, no background.
