Which anti spyware software is the best?

Which anti spyware software is the best?

Postby Earl on Thu Nov 24, 2005 11:48 pm

There are thousands of anti spyware sofware out there. There are some freewares, some sharewares and some made by the big anti-virus developers, like Symantec.

But I would like to know which Anti-Spyware software you use and why you think it's the best.

I've been using SpySweeper for a month or three, it's really good. Only one problem, it's too much of a memory hog... So if you're gaming or using Photoshop, you have to turn off this application, because it saves so much memory.

If you want freeware then Spybot is the best, Adaware is also good.

If you want shareware then i would recommend you Ewido anti malware, it detects some thing which spybot doesn't.

Adaware is good. You can get free copy from http://www.lavasoft.com ( free edition does not provide real time protection )
