I don't know if I need a macro for this, but if Word's automatic index function can do this, it's not too clear about it. What I want is to open a document, input a list of terms to be indexed, have Word tag each instance of each term as an index entry, and generate an automatic index of those terms.
Can anyone help with this? I'd vastly prefer a solution in the form of a macro, so that others can replicate the process more simply. It makes no difference to me whether the wordlist is inputted manually or imported from a text file.
I'm working with VB6 in Word 2003. Your help is appreciated.
