Ok, here we go again.

The theme was very clear here, but for some reason I had real difficulty in putting the final image together. Thriller/horror really isn't my genre of choice, so this might have had something to do with it...

Anyhow, here's my best attempt. Feedback and constructive criticism would be welcomed, as I'm really not very excited about this picture. And even if it's negative, it's more fun when people comment on your work.



My next 3 pictures are pirate themed. Would you like to try these ones, Raven? (If not, would someone please volunteer? The results are so much nicer when the 'nominee' has time for it!) Once again, I've got thumbnails and then links to high-res images below. Would love to be working on this one myself - (Pirates of the Caribbean is such an awesome movie!)

i would love to give this one ago but i will give it a few hours to see if anyone else wants to as there are a few who have not done one in a few

btw rach i love your image it is really good would make a great dvd cover ,only issue i can see is the text to me it looks a little bright and out of place but apart from that fantastinc!!

It's funny you say that, I was thinking DVD cover when I made it...

About the text - now that you say it I can see that you're right - it is a bit much compared to the rest of the image. Sometimes you can tell that there's something amiss, but you've just been staring at your work for too long to pick up what it is... Thanks for your feedback!

Your right sometimes you dont see it your self at first as you have spent that much time looking at it.

I find I have a problem sometimes I break a design up in my mind in to indevidual sections so if im happy with the section i tend to stick with it and sometimes that section just dont go with the image

Yeah, that happens to me too. Sometimes if a concept's not working you've just got to let it go - even if you really like it... Looking forward to seeing what you do with the pirate pics!
