Hi guys, I need to make a vertical alignment in a new design that I am working on. The problem is that I cannot use <td> to accomplish this. With td it's easy cause it by default aligns vertical at center which is what I need. Using the vertical-align on css in a div it does not work. Why? Thank you.

vertical-align is a attribute of table tags,

To aling elements in a div you need to use the attribute align="center", for example

The vertical-align property in CSS controls how elements set next to each other on a line are lined up.In order for this to work, the elements need to be set alone a baseline. As in, inline (e.g. <span>, <img>) or inline-block (e.g. as set by the display property) elements.
